Rates
$450 an hour split between the parties (3 hour minimum for half day /6 for full day)
Half-Day Bookings
Half-day mediations and pre-suit settlement conferences typically start at 9:00am and 1:30pm. Should you require an alternative start time, please indicate so in your Booking Request Form.
Full Day Bookings
Full-day mediations conferences occur from 9:00 - 5:30pm (including an hour lunch). Should you require an alternative start time or additional time, please indicate so in your Booking Request Form.
Travel
Travel will be billed at half the hourly rate ($200 /hour). There is no charge for travel in Hillsborough County, Florida. Airfare and reasonable lodging will be added to the invoice if required for attendance.
Location
Bookings are available in-person or virtually using Zoom.
Bookings may occur at one of the lawyers' offices, a court reporter’s office, or other agreed-upon location.
Cancellation
Cancellation Policy: Mediations cancelled more than 5 business days in advance will incur no cancellation fee. Mediations cancelled less than 5 business days in advancee will incur a 2 hour charge for half- day mediations, and a 4 hour charge for full day mediations. We will work hard to fill that time, and if another mediation is scheduled, then you will not be charged. Mediations or Arbitration's fees are shared equally by the parties, unless agreed otherwise as part of the mediation or arbitration. Cancellation fees are likewise equally to all parties, unless one party confirms in writing that it will pay the full cancellation fee.
Cancellation due to Trial: When one side cancels mediation because a court calls counsel to trial, we will initially charge the cancellation fee to that party. However, If the mediation is rescheduled and proceeds, we will apply the payment to the rescheduled mediation. Otherwise, our normal cancellation policy applies.
